THE LINEAGE BARS

The Forest Bar

Tucked deep within the trees, our Forest Bar brings a touch of magic to every gathering. Rustic and raw in the best way, it sits seamlessly within the woodland, offering the same curated cocktails, champagne, wines, and spirits as our other bars—but with the added charm of crackling leaves underfoot and a canopy overhead. It’s a natural hideaway designed for unforgettable forest events, where the atmosphere is as refreshing as the drinks.

The Lineage Bar

Located next to the railway, the farm features a unique centrepiece: the original conductor’s house preserved inside the event hall and converted into a stylish bar that blends history with contemporary energy.

The Old Railway Bar

This bar stands as a tribute to an earlier chapter in Elgin–Grabouw’s history, when the arrival of the railway in August 1902 transformed the valley forever. As trains began stopping at the new Elgin station, the region shifted from a quiet farming outpost into a lively crossroads for traders, farm workers, and travellers. The original bar that once served those early rail passengers has long since disappeared, but its spirit endures here. This modern space is designed to capture the warmth, camaraderie, and frontier energy of that era — a place where people gathered after long days in the orchards, shared stories over drinks, and watched the bustle of the new railway reshape the valley. Today’s bar is not the old one, but a living memory of it, honouring the community roots laid down more than a century ago. If you want, I can tailor this to your exact venue name, theme, or tone (more rustic, more formal, more dramatic, etc.).
